Support local young people into employment?
Offering work experience, a work trial, or a placement to a 16-35 year old who has completed our Give and Gain training scheme?
If the answer is yes, why not make a difference and be there for local young people, by giving them a springboard to employment.
Many of our Give and Gain trainees who have completed work placements with employers locally have gone on to gain employment with them – so placements can also be an opportunity to develop your own workforce or fill skills gaps too.
Young people available for work experience placements will have taken part in Give and Gain and will have been coached and trained in one of the below:
- Warehouse Health and Safety
- Food Safety (Level 2)
- Customer Services

Recycling Services
We offer a full range of recycling services, all of which can be tailored to your specific requirements. From office waste collection, to WEEE destruction and confidential shredding, we can accommodate your needs.
Touch Wood
Do you need to get rid of waste wood? We offer a competitively-priced collection service and process reclaimed timber for resale to the public. We also practice upcycling; creating expertly-crafted items from reclaimed wood in our specialist workshop, including bespoke pieces of furniture.
FareShare GM
EMERGE runs the Greater Manchester operations of surplus food charity FareShare, which combines sustainability and humanitarian practices by redistributing overstocked donated fresh food to charities and community initiatives across the city region.
